Tourism and Recreation (T&R)

Tourism and Recreation Tourism was identified as a key climate change related development opportunity for the Peninsula. Increased tourism raises concerns regarding the erosion of the current environment and the capability of the current infrastructure to handle demand. This programme responds to the desire for evolving the product for a ‘greener’, lower impact, longer stay market, and seeks to address the possible impact of potential coastal change on the tourist and leisure economy.
